As we prepare for 2022, we are continuing to see impacts on the global supply chain. Prices for critical materials such as gold and copper are rising. The rise of the 5G deployment, data centers, and electronic vehicles have created unprecedented demand for semiconductor components, but supply is already extremely limited. Furthermore, there has been a number of energy crises due to regional weather events, and the effects of the pandemic continue to affect production and logistics worldwide. All of these together are creating supply chain instability that is increasing component costs and fueling price inflation even further.
Due to the continued instability in global supply, Moxa has announced an upcoming 6% price increase across all product lines effective February 1, 2022.
If you have Moxa requirements for 2022 or if you wish to stock up on your high-usage Moxa parts, we greatly recommend that you place orders before 1/25/22 to secure existing pricing and inventory priority – this would allow our team some time to place orders with Moxa to fulfill your requirements. All orders received by January 25, 2022 with requested ship dates before October 1, 2022 will have the existing pricing honored. All orders placed after February 1, 2022 or have requested ship dates after October 1, 2022 will receive the new pricing.
